Narrative of the Last Days

The most important prophetic event in the past century is the birth of the modern nation of Israel in 1948. For almost 2,000 years, the Jews were dispersed and exiled all over the globe. They suffered deportations, mass murders and pogroms over the centuries everywhere they were. This persecution culminated in the genocide of 6 million Jews by the German and European Nazis in the Holocaust of WWII. No nation can survive such an assault, yet the Jews kept their national identity in foreign lands and managed to survived as a distinct people.

GOD promised to gather his chosen people to their own ancient homeland. The surviving Jews from all over the globe started to return to Israel. Barely three years after WWII, the modern nation of Israel was born in one day. "Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children" (Isa 66:8). Israel's birth is a must before other prophetic events in the last days would happen; now it is fulfilled.

The next significant year in eschatology is 2001, when on September 11, Muslim terrorists attacked America by flying airplanes into New York's World Trade Center towers and flattening them to the ground. They also hit the Pentagon and Pennsylvania. Thousands of innocent civilians died. Islamic jihadists handed an open declaration of war to America and the Western countries. That same year, Iran started their nuclear program to produce the atomic bomb for the sole purpose of wiping Israel off the map.

The next event in the prophetic calendar is the war of Gog against Israel (see Eze 38-39). Gog starts war preparations and will invade Israel when he has formed an all-nations coalition including all Middle Eastern Muslim countries, Western Europe, UK and USA. He assembles a vast army from every country in the world and is armed to the teeth. Iran at this time has produced the atomic bombs. The invading army reaches deep into the mountains of Israel.

But GOD defends his people the Jews. He sends the greatest earthquake in history, causing widespread destruction in the land of Israel and around the globe. GOD sends blindness to the troops and they start shooting each other. The massive earthquake alters the global axis and coordinates resulting in total failure of the global positioning system. The coalition's GPS-guided atomic bombs and missiles fall not on Israel but on their own armies causing a total annihilation of the Gogan forces by friendly fire. Gog dies in the war. After the war, Israel cleans the land of nuclear waste, armaments, and multitudes of dead soldiers for seven months.

Then GOD blesses Israel. He restores her fortunes and adds to her coffers the spoils of war from the defeated nations. Part of the blessings is the final return of all Jews around the globe back to their homeland and not one Jew is left in the countries of their exiles (see Eze 39:25-28). With GOD on their side, no one makes them afraid (see Eze 39:26).

Then Israel builds the 3rd Jerusalem Temple on the Temple mount, while the surrounding Islamic nations and the all countries are destroyed in the Gogan war and cannot mount any opposition. The Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosques are now flattened by the earthquake. The Jews re-establish the priesthood and commence the temple services and animal sacrifices according to the Mosaic laws for the worship of the true GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Afterwards, Satan contemplates his next move from the ashes of the war. He empowers the 4th beast of Daniel's prophecy to rise out of the sea; a world power emerges on the world scene. A sea of humanity welcomes the arrival of a new empire promising to create a different world order. However, that power is not the European Union, but a confederacy of ten Islamic nations to be headed by a little horn called the Antichrist. Once formed, the empire starts the world domination, imposes one world religion and also controls the global economy. To the Muslims, this world power is the final Caliphate, headed by the 12th Imam al Madhi.

To establish this empire, radical Islamists use terrorism and murders, and the moderate Muslims employ the open-door policy of immigration, high birth rate, Islamic lobby in the halls of power. Sharia law gets adopted by states and countries; one by one the Western European countries led by the UK fall into the Islamic fold. USA follows the route to become Islamic too. Islamization of the world is inevitable. Meanwhile, brutal persecution of Christians escalates not only in the Middle East and Africa but also worldwide. Thousands of Christians are massacred daily in many countries.

The next prophetic event is the Rapture, the snatching away, the disappearance of all true believers in Jesus Christ from planet earth. At the trumpet sound, those dead in Christ rise from their graves and the living ones disappear from planet earth in a twinkling of an eye. All GOD's saints in both the Old and New Testament times join the Church to meet Jesus in the sky.

Soon after, the Antichrist is inaugurated as the 1st Emperor of the World Empire and commences the 7-year Great Tribulation. The seven seals of the heavenly scroll are broken and the four horsemen of the Apocalypse are released. Mankind suffers the worst conflagration of wars, persecution, massacres, plagues and natural disasters. Jesus said: "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved." (Mat 24:21-22). One third of the world's population dies at the hands of Antichrist's brutal hordes.
