Narrator: Our Lady is overwhelmed by the praise and draws her shawl about her, covering her face and head. Her man stalks delightedly around her, continuing his monologue. He gives her a big hug from behind, lifting her gently for a moment.
Prince; A locked garden is My sister, My spouse; a rock heap locked up, a fountain sealed. Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; with henna and spikenard, spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices; a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. Son 4:12-15 MKJV
Narrator: Having released her he looks up and about, calling for the winds to waft her intoxicating aroma out, so he'll at least have that.
Prince; Awake, O north wind; and come, south wind; blow on my garden, so that the spices of it may flow out. Son 4:16a MKJV
Narrator: Back on her feet she turns to him, holding wide her shawl, inviting him in.
Lady; Let my Beloved come into His garden and eat His pleasant fruits. Son 4:16b MKJV
Narrator: He leans in, they kiss, and she brings the shawl over and around them as they embrace.
The pair retire to their cottage. It is their nuptial night.
