Guidance: Against the Odds

Human beings are marvels. Evolved complexities from a work of art by God Almighty. A system not duplicated in any other creation. Plants live, die or go dormant by instinct, according to the weather. Animals hibernate, migrate and adapt by instinct. Birds fly south, information, carefully positioning their wingtips and sync their flapping, presumably to catch the other bird's updraft, saving energy. Animals hibernating is truly an intelligent survival mechanism when food sources are scarce. Swine will wallow by instinct as wallowing serves the purpose of comfort. Human beings, on the other hand, are created in the image of God, blessed with the complexities of many organisms. Such as the eye, which collects visual information, the immune system, and the lungs to oxygenate the blood, organisms we take for granted. Like the quickness of a microwave, we take for granted until there’s a power failure. The human brain is arguably the most complex thing in the known universe. As people, we come into the world equally evolved, as infants, with only the instinct to eat, cry and extricate. As we grow, our instincts ripen. From the very brainy to the small minded, we all fall somewhere in the realm of intelligence. But no matter how academic we think we are, we are all equal through and under his redemption. We must never reach such a state of inertia or selfishness we damage the neurons of God’s greatest gift.
