The King waited expectantly for someone to volunteer for sewer detail. "Is there anyone at all?" The king stated rather impatiently. A pale thin man in the back row stood. He was dressed in raggedy torn pants and a dusty jacket patched in several places. He took his tattered hat off his head as he rose revealing a head full of tangled unwashed hair. The townspeople recognized him as the town beggar. "I'll do it your majesty." The beggar stated. "Why, sir would you volunteer for such a horrible job?" The king asked him.

About the Book
Sand City Sewers is a story about Leadership and Humility. It Is set in a theme to inspire and encourage children of any age to serve God and others first in their lives.
About the Author
Arthur Odell has been small business owner since 1994, along with serving as head of security at a local Mega-Church for 8 years. He has also been an interim Pastor, Youth Pastor and Choir director willing to serve the Lord whenever and wherever God calls. He is a native of NW Arkansas where he lives to this day with his wife Elizabeth.
