This warning is to all believers regardless of their Christian denomination to prepare both spiritually and physically for the coming woes and subsequent beginning of sorrows that initiate the great tribulation period that occurs before the prophesied Day of the Lord. This catching away or “harpazo” is to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air as proclaimed by Jesus Himself on the Mount of Olives. In His prophecy, Jesus said that the temple in Jerusalem would be completely destroyed and it has been twice. But then the rebuilt sanctuary will again commence the sacrifice for sin by the Jews in the third temple (Daniel 9:24-27, Matthew 24:15).
Jesus then proclaimed that there would be a worldwide deception or “dark ages” that would deceive many of the last days believers in Jehovah, and Jesus during this time (Matthew 24:3, Mark 13:5 and Luke 21:8).
These deceptions are the most diabolical tricks ever perpetrated on ignorant believers because of their being done by fellow nominal believers in the Risen Christ to negotiate a false peace. Even though they are believers they have been deceived themselves by the works of the flesh and the lusts of the heart, that they and their church members partake in (Galatians 5:19-21, James 4:1-4) to achieve a false security. They are blinded by a false gospel that has thrown millions of nominal believers into these last days “dark ages” deceptions. With this new age enlightenment of love, grace and prosperity messages being taught, repentance from sin is not preached at all as to not offend the worldly so-called Christians that attend their seeker friendly churches. These perversions of the Gospel are many, because of the many ways sin can be justified by a perceived need for approval. These newly accepted societal norms are really a form of selective Christian morality that will be discussed throughout this book.
We will try to touch on some of them for your study in this volume. Through personal prayer you will be able to identify and specifically address each of them. If any of these examples do apply to you personally, we will give the biblical remedy to remove them (Matthew 18:18). The idea of the rapture or “Harpazo” as the only hope that millions of nominal Christians have to avoid the last day’s afflictions prophesied in scripture and is the purpose of this writing. It is a false hope for those who continue to live in sin thinking that God, sin and hell are an archaic and outdated concept for ignorant uneducated people. Many will be shocked by their religious apathy and their foolish disregarding of Jesus’ warnings of the last days. But I tell you that the real issue to focus on for believers, is to be counted worthy either as the dead in Christ, (1st Thess. 4:16) or those to be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus in the air at the last trump (I Cor. 15:12-21).
These lies are the prophesied deceptions that Jesus warned about, and will be the cause of millions of nominal Christians to weep and gnash their teeth in despair when they discover that they’ve been left behind. Being left behind by the “Harpazo” because of the spiritually irrelevant doctrinal debates that have no bearing on their eternal destination, is what will be discussed in this book. These nominal believers with their new salvation message, have been misled to believe that God will accept them regardless of the sin they continue to ignorantly walk in. Biblically ignorant nominal Christians wallow in unrepentant sin while debating creation, salvation and religious doctrine. All the while spewing out hate, racism, intolerance and prejudice to other true believers.
Whether it be hatred, idolatry, fornication, adultery or any other of the works of the flesh that are excused by religious nepotism and political correctness, many believers will be left behind. These hindrances are outlined by Jesus in Matthew chapter five, six and seven in the Sermon on the Mount. Unfortunately the majority of believers of this generation continue to partake in the works of the flesh and the lusts of the heart, even after their salvation commitment to follow Jesus Christ is made. Not only are all the warnings given in scripture by the prophets, apostles and Jesus Himself being ignored, but so too have most the coming future warnings written about been ignored as well. Most mainstream Christian denominations don’t preach on the last days or sin anymore because of their fear of losing parishioners. Many don’t really believe that these prophesies apply to the modern church because of a form of replacement theology that will be explained in subsequent chapters.
