About the Book

The Green House is about a young, happy family who is excited to purchase and move into their first home. But after living there for just a few weeks, they begin to realize that something is not quite right in their new house. They begin to have unusual paranormal experiences that leave them confused, baffled, and not just a little frightened. It is a story about overcoming fear and adversity by believing in the power of Jesus’ name and the truths of Scripture. It is a story of light overcoming darkness.

About the Author

Lisa Chambers was born in Dexter Missouri to an impoverished family as the youngest of eleven children. In the first few years of her life, her family earned a living by working in the cotton and bean fields in the southeast corner of Missouri. When she was three years old, she relocated with her family to Arkansas. She has lived in the same small-town area of Arkansas ever since, and she now shares it with her husband of twenty-nine years. This is her first published book.

Lisa has four children and five grandchildren. She has always loved writing, and in addition to her longer work, she keeps many poems and songs in her private collection. She is a devout Christian, a licensed minister, and a licensed practical nurse. Lisa wishes to give God all the glory and thanks for the wonderful direction in which he seems to be taking her as she steps into the new role of author. She hopes many people read and enjoy her book, but more than that, she hopes that her book might in some way help someone, bringing them to a closer walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
