About the Book
Angels by the Roadside represents a compilation of the greatest and most memorable moments in Dora’s life in which God sent angels to, at times, deliver a message or guide her in the making of an important decision. At other times the angels even protected her against imminent danger. Her recognition of those divine helpers as angels was sometimes immediate and other times the product of much contemplation and prayer. There is little doubt that this book will cause the reader to ask, “Could that unexpected helper in my life also have been an angel?” This book will inspire the reader to rely on God’s provision and realize that sometimes the most seemingly coincidental occurrences in life may actually be an angelic visitation gone unnoticed.
About the Author
The author was raised in a poor farming family of eleven. Her unlikely exposure to God as a young child began a lifelong relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, as an ordained minister of the gospel and senior pastor of Templo Ebenezer Assembly of God in San Benito, Texas, Dora retains her country spirit as she shares the message of God’s love with her congregation every week. A retired elementary school teacher and distinguished professor of biblical studies, her southern charm and sharp wit have made her a favorite storyteller among the young and old.
