We are all members of His body, we all have different functions, but we have one purpose (1 Cor. 12:12).
The plan of God is not being accomplished if members of the body are sitting still.
As your natural body sits for too long, the blood doesn't circulate well. How can the body of Christ continue to sit still and not allow the powerful message of the shed blood of Jesus to flow throughout the rest of the world? We need one another to operate in unity in order to impact this world the way Jesus, our “Employer” expects.
When He calls you to work for Him will you reply as the young man did in Luke 9:59 when asked to follow Jesus, "Not now I must go and bury my father”? Do you have something you need to bury?
Church hurt, family hurt, fear, doubt, inadequacies? These things are keeping you from achieving great things for Christ. We all have our own “baggage” that keeps us from walking with Christ.
Will you pick up yours and follow Him?
