Once upon a time in “a land flowing with milk and honey,” there was a sweet little ant named Mrs. Ant Hony. She loved to help a cook and a baker make sweet treats in the kitchen of a palace. Mrs. Ant Hony was always there to make sure the cook and the baker could find the right spoons and cups to measure ingredients, when making sweet treats for the family who lived in the palace. She believed that doing nice things for others in “…a good measure, pressed down, and shaken together…” was the key to happiness.

This is the whimsical tale of a sweet little ant named Mrs. Ant Hony, whose heartfelt prayers are answered when a little girl lamb and a little boy lamb learn to do nice things for others.
About the Author
Peggy Leehy holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is a nursing education specialist, where creativity is encouraged. Joyful memories of making sweet treats with her children and grandchildren inspired her writing of A Sugary Tale of Mrs. Ant Hony. Peggy lives in Nebraska with her husband, Donald, and is working on her next book for children.
About the Illustrators:
Anna and Emma Morelli are twin sisters living in Nebraska. Recent homeschooled graduates, they plan to pursue careers in the arts. A Sugary Tale of Mrs. Ant Hony is their first artistic endeavor.
