This book is written to expose cross-dressing as a sin. I do not know of anyone who has written a book of this nature before and I am only doing as God has led me to do. I want to help others avoid the things that I have experienced and lead those who are not Christians to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God has moved in my life since I was a child and the power of a loving God to set free from the bondage of sin is expressed in these pages.
Cross-dressing as a sin became a reality to me as I read and studied God's Word. I pray that it will be apparent to you, the reader, to draw the same conclusion. The life I chose to live was sinful. You cannot mix Christianity and purposeful sin, it doesn't work! We never know when someone is watching us and I had others watching my lifestyle as a Christian. Since I have stopped dressing as a woman, I thank God I am no longer a stumbling block to them.
I pray that you take the time to read what God has helped me put on paper and find out first hand about a sin that is never talked about or rarely mentioned. A lot of the things we think to be alright, we find out later is not, according to the Word of God. A lot of people do not know that cross-dressing is a sin and that it disgusts God. Through this book, I attempt to turn people away from that lifestyle.
We all have been given a free will choice by God and I believe that I abused that ability to make my own decisions. I believe what the Word of God says and that we should do all we can to please God. I believe that the Holy Spirit is our teacher and instructor and leads us to all truths. I was led to the biblical truth about dressing as a woman. I could not please God and be involved in what I found out to be a sin. As you read my story you will find out I am human and am tempted to do all the wrong things. Without knowing Godly precepts we will make a lot of mistakes and sin unknowingly. Although I was a Christian, I was involved in sin and not aware of it for quite some time. It took God and his love for me to open my eyes to the sin of cross-dressing and bring me back to the relationship I had with Him when I first became a Christian.
I wish to thank my many friends and family members who have encouraged me to write this book. Most of all I want to thank God for impressing on me the need for this book. Without His guidance and patience with me, it would never have been written. The message of a lifestyle that can put a person on the road to Hell, needs to be heard.

The things the world offers, seems so grand.
The temptations given are too great for a man.

About the Author
Jim was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1944. His family lived in Eudora, Mississippi for a few years, moved to Memphis in the late 40’s, and then to Houston, Texas in 1955. He is the oldest of three boys.
Jim graduated from Jessie H. Jones Senior High in 1963 and continuing his education, graduated with a B/A from South Texas Jr College in Houston in 1965. He furthered his education at the University of Houston, majoring in Art. Jim left school in 1967 and never returned. He was married that same year, fathered a son, and was divorced in 1972 after returning from the Army. In 1997 he turned his classic car hobby into a part-time business. Jim is a member of the Ford Falcon Club of America and helps to keep Falcons on the road. He retired from a utility company in 2005.
God became supernaturally real to Jim at an early age. Although he was involved in a sinful lifestyle, Jim kept a relationship with God. He was hospitalized for stress seven times and drew his strength from his relationship with God. Committing to God, Jim walked away from cross-dressing in 2013 and wrote “CROSS-DRESSING: Lifestyle of the Deceived.” He is now living a consecrated life as an active member/deacon serving at Church of the Harvest in Manvel, Texas.
This is the second book Jim has written. His first, Touched by ...GOD’S HAND, published in 2005, describes in poetry form God’s supernatural intervention in his life. It also includes poems relating to life. Each book makes its own contribution to help others seek and find a relationship with Jesus Christ.
