Understanding Spiritual Growth and Fruit Bearing

When there is a tree that is not bearing fruit that is a violation of the fruit bearing principle that God established. This is an abnormal occurrence because fruitless trees do not bring God the Creator the glory that is was designed to. God is the God of purpose and He created everything with a purpose also. God’s glory is always revealed through purpose. If purpose is not being fulfilled, God is not being glorified and God takes that very seriously.
Whenever principles are violated, there must be consequences for that violation. That is the natural order that God established. That is why Jesus said that if a branch does not bear fruit (fulfill its purpose), it will be cut off and discarded (John 15:2). Fruitlessness discredits God. If creation is supposed to declare the glory of God, how is a tree supposed to do that if it doesn’t do what God created it to do which is bear fruit? Every time you partake of the fruit of a tree you are acting as a witness to the glory of God the Creator. A fruitless tree is a bad testimony of God and He has no choice but to get rid of it.

It has been said that while growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. About the Author
Darren Wilson is an author, speaker, and Bible teacher whose aim is to help bring people to a full awareness of who they are and challenge people to discover their assignment so that they may live life as purposefully as God intended them to in their generation. He has spoken at conferences, commencement ceremonies, schools, community centers, and churches to a wide range of audiences from young to old on various subjects ranging from youth affairs to spiritual affairs. He has earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology, and he also is the founder and president of Visionary Leadership Ministries International based in Saint Martin, which is a ministry dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and transforming lives. Darren and his wife, Charmaine, speak together as a team and live in Saint Martin, where they both are from.
