Ever wonder why the world is such a mess? Why people, for the most part, are never satisfied and seem to be lost and without hope or direction?
To make any sense of it all, we need to go back to where the decline of man and the world began.
From the beginning, we see how God gloriously created all things, including man, who He created in His own image. All that man needed to have a full life was provided by a generous and loving God. Included was dominion over all things God had created and best of all uninterrupted fellowship with God himself./
We see how man and everything to follow fell from grace because he couldn't obey the one thing forbidden to him. When we behold the provision of God to cover threir sin and the consequences of their disobedience, we still see Gods mercy and love. Cast out of the Garden of Eden we see how life changed for man and the world around them. Because of sin man and the world were now under a curse. Hard work and sweat had become the lot of fallen man and the world. Offerings and blood sacrifices were now necessary to have fellowship with God.
Today man and the world are still under the curse, and because of it, we get sick and grow old and die and the world seems more corrupt than ever. The only hope for mankind is to believe that God sent His Son to make the sacrifice necessary to restore and reconcile us through faith in His Son.

About the Book
Young people everywhere are discovering that the world around them is full of disappointment and a lack of trust. We're hoping that this book will appeal to and encourage these young people and show them where the truth can be found and where to place their trust.
We want them to discover that, starting with the Old Testament, the people and stories are exciting, challenging, and entertaining; they speak of a loving God that not only wants a relationship with them but also has a plan for their lives. The goal is to introduce the reader to biblical heroes and their stories and show them how God’s purpose throughout history has been to lead the reader to His ultimate hero.
And as the seeker reads on into the New Testament, he will come to realize that God’s hero is God himself.
About the Author
Joe Scarano was both born and raised in New York. He and his wife now live in Pennsylvania. Married for sixty years, they enjoy their family, especially their great-grandchildren. Joe is a retired police officer and is involved with local Bible studies and artwork. He loves to travel.
The illustrations in this book were a labor of love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is a constant source of inspiration and grace.
