Are you a good or bad person just which one would you say?
If a bad person let’s just see what the bible reads Okay
Psalm one describes a bad person as ungodly and that which will perish
Not starting or sounding good so far something hopefully you won’t relish
Psalm fourteen describes a bad person or fool saying God doesn’t exist
A man named Cain became a fool gave God attitude while shaking his fist
So the road for a bad person hopefully isn’t your cup of tea
Jesus came to save both bad and good people to liberate and set free
Now don’t get me wrong you can be good and yet not make the grade
Being good doesn’t quite make it if you’re playing a silly game of charades
It’s just half of the puzzle and Jesus wanting the other half complete
God knows the character of a willing heart making it strong as concrete
God knows His creation better than they themselves this is so very true
He has endless never ending patience while waiting with love for you
The Word of God is full of promises for the good and contrite heart
This is to all who have a willing heart and wanting a brand new start

About the Author
Conrad (C+RAD) Martinez is currently an Operation Maintenance Technician 4 at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California in Riverside. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1979, and he served in the United States Air Force from 1979–1986. He has six children and three grandchildren.
