After Timothy and his parents made countless visits to the hospital for medical testing, the doctor told Timothy’s parents that the cause of the headaches was a brain tumor. Timothy wasn’t sure what that meant. He was afraid to ask. He felt overwhelmed when trying to understand the long and strange words the doctor used when he talked to Timothy’s parents. Listening to those conversations caused a lump in his throat to grow bigger each time. The news of the brain tumor caused him to fear, which caused a pain deep in the pit of his stomach. The pounding in his head and the ache and fear in his stomach were the only realities he understood.

About the Book
I wrote this story to remind every reader, child or adult, of the hope and comfort in God’s promise to be by our side in every situation we face in life, including death. He has promised to give us a perfect body when we get to heaven—a body that will never experience sickness, pain, fear, or loneliness and, best of all, will never die.
About the Author
Virginia taught elementary music in the public school system for twenty years and is now retired. Her greatest delight is to give and read books to her grandchildren. Virginia lives with her husband near their son, daughter, and four grandchildren in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. Her hobbies include music, camping, and working in her flower garden.
