We all have questions. We all look for answers. It's at the very core of being human. Unfortunately, another part of being human is not having all the answers. Our lives are one great big puzzle; oh and guess what: we don't even have all the pieces. The best we can do is stumble along and hope for the best possible outcome. We just cross our fingers and hope against hope that each decision we make, each path we follow, and each unforeseen disaster will slowly but surely lead us to our "Great Destiny".Well at least that's what television shows and movies like to tell us. We should trust fate, always be positive, and everything will turn out alright in the end. I don't know about you, but that sounds a little too crazy to me.
Fortunately, we aren't alone. We don't have to know all the answers. For that matter, we don't even have to know all the questions. It's true, on our own we would be blindly bouncing from one major life event to another, but with God, that's not the case. He knows all the questions and answers, and not only does He have all the pieces but He made the puzzle to begin with. All we have to do is trust Him. All we have to do is have enough faith to let go of our plans, of our wants, and most importantly our fears and let Him lead us to our true destiny. The one He handpicked for us long before we were even born. All we have to do is stand back and say:
"Here I am, Lord. Send me."
"Here I am, Lord. Help Me."
"Here I am, Lord. Show me."
Sounds easy enough, right? Yeah, if only...

About the Book
What is a calling? What is a spiritual gift? More importantly, why doesn't Janey have either? They say everyone is special in their own way, but the closest Janey gets to special is being especially average. Comparing herself to her "great at everything with perfect looks to boot" best friend Preston, doesn't exactly help. She feels like she is drifting through life without contributing anything to anyone. At seventeen, she doesn't expect to have her life all figured out but she desperately wants to know what God has planned for her. With determination, she vows to find her spiritual calling and get started doing God's work immediately, but distractions wait around every corner. Will she try to hard? Will she wait for God to show her the way, or will she dive in too deep?
About the Author
Kelsey Browning grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois. She is married to her high school sweetheart and stays home to raise their three young children on the family farm. She is a member of a small Free Will Baptist church and hopes to use her writing to help spread God's word and to encourage other Christians.
