Then, beside being helpful and full of fun and tricks, Kenzie seemed to have a sense of curiosity and wonder, for one evening, as Grandma sat in the backyard wearing a straw hat, Kenzie could not just watch any longer. While munching on his hay, he seemed to whinny to himself, "What is that odd-looking thing on top of Grandma's head? Is that something good to eat?" Kenzie trotted out of his gate and down through the yard and stood behind Grandma's lawn chair staring at her hat. Suddenly, he reached out his long, soft nose and grabbed the hat right off Grandma's head!

The story relates the life of Kenzie to Jesus, who lifts our lives from loneliness and despair and gives us hope through His amazing grace.
About the Author
The Rockin’ Horse is Patricia’s first children’s book. She found herself on an amazing journey in the writing and publishing of this true story.
Patricia is a retired elementary teacher. She is the proud mother of three daughters and two grandchildren.
She ministers and serves in her church and community with her musical, teaching, and leadership talents.
Patricia and her husband, Bill, live in western Pennsylvania, and they travel from coast to coast visiting their family.
