The Most of this Place

How well do you focus on details? My husband restores vintage motorcycles. He also from time to time shows these bikes. He has won a number of trophies for the bikes he restores. One reason for this is his eye for detail. He takes many months paying close attention to the details of each and every bike he restores. Details you and I may never see, never the less he focuses on every little detail. And the end result is a beautiful bike ready to show. When we find ourselves in a particular place like that of waiting, defeat or conflict or perhaps some other place, where we choose to place our focus makes a difference of how beautiful the outcome will be. The details of our actions, attitudes, mindset and motives determine our spiritual growth and perhaps the next step in our journey with Christ. How we respond is of the up most importance. Details, watch the details. Pay attention to the details. Focus on what God has for you in the place you now rest and fight the urge to focus on the place. Place your attention on the one who designed your current place. Paul and Silas when they were in prison paid attention to the details. When those prison doors swung open they did not rush out they waited on the Lord and He did not disappoint. The jailer was in need of a Savior and Paul and Silas were in the right place at the appointed time and salvation came. Ask God for clear vision so you can witness the details.
