On the other hand, Potiphar's wife did not keep her hands busy. They say, "Idle hands are Satan's playground". This was indeed the case with Potiphar's wife. She was bored and so her eyes wondered to a man who was working for her husband. This poor worker was none other than Joseph.
She started to flirt with him and he ignored her. This made her mad. So she became bolder and invited him to have an affair with her. He told her no. She really got angry with him then. One day when Joseph was going about his duties as usual, she tried to rape him. But he got away from her as fast as he could. She had a hold on his cloak when he ran, so she was still holding it after he left her standing alone.
This made her furious! So she came up with a devilish plan to pay him back. She showed Joseph's cloak to her husband and told him that Joseph had indeed raped her. Well, this made her husband, understandingly, mad at Joseph and he had him thrown into the king's prison.
