CHRISTLIKENESS
To say I love you would be an understatement
There’s no ocean on earth that runs as deep
Yet, I find myself at the bottom of its depths
Shipwrecked for you
What once was encumbered
With its superfluous passions
Desirous of lustful encounters
Is unhindered with the freedom to love I’ve found in you
Freedom to feel, freedom to express, freedom to be
An ever-standing, sometimes failing, always striving
Servant of the Most High
You see, I am like He
I’ve come to serve, not to be served
The elegance of my words may seek to impress
But that’s just a reflection
Of what Jesus did to my soul
And for you, I’d spend until the end of time
Ensuring your every need is met
Your dreams brought to reality
And your heart filled with love
Through language only you understand
There’d be no brighter light
Than the one so fresh in your world
My love would be as sweetened nectar
Tasted for the first time, every time
An explosion of Christlikeness
To your every sense

About the Book
Love. Passion. Distance. Patience. These are things that we all experience throughout the course of relationships. At the moment we begin dating someone new, we are flooded with all sorts of emotions that bring out the best and, sometimes, the worst in us.
About the Author
Born and raised in Temple Hills, Maryland, author Randy Reynolds grew up the youngest of six boys. His parents, Leon and Carolyn, were very active in nurturing morally grounded qualities in him. This ultimately led Randy to Christ.
Since then, he’s become a youth minister serving at Stonewall Missionary Baptist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana. Currently a senior enrolled at Liberty University studying psychology Christian counseling, he seeks to glorify God by connecting the beauty of language with the delicate nature of love in relationships.
