Recognition
I did not always read my Bible,
Nor pray every day,
And even though I was a sinner,
You loved me anyway.
I bask in Your grace,
I am unworthy of Your mercy,
When no one else would listen,
You made sure You heard me.
I know I seem ungrateful every now and then,
But thank You for being my Father and my Friend,
Please prepare a space for me,
For to You I want to come,
Away from this earthly realm,
And into Your Heavenly Kingdom.

About the Book
Romans 12:12 says to “rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” (ESV). Sometimes the obstacles of life may seem to be too much for us to bear. As the level of difficulty increases, our strength decreases. When this happens, we must reaffirm where our true strength comes from. This collection of poetry will remind you that God will never place more on you than you can handle. Something Inside So Strong is a reflection of my life. Open your hearts and let these poems empower you to remain firm and endure to the end.
About the Author
Jeremiah Rashad Clarke was born in Nassau, Bahamas, in 1995. Despite being diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy at birth, Jeremiah persevered. He graduated from Kingsway Academy as Deputy Head Boy in June 2013. Jeremiah is currently studying pre-law at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He enjoys writing poetry, public speaking, and playing chess. Jeremiah aspires to one day become a successful lawyer and fight for the rights of others. He has one brother, Danniell Clarke, and two very proud parents, Patricia and William Weeks.
