About the Book

Planet Earth is the only place in our vast, expanding universe where life is known to exist.

The quality and value of that life is largely determined by our own choices as human beings.

We need to be willing, as fallible inhabitants of planet Earth, to open our hearts and minds to the ways of our Creator. Those ways lead to trusting relationship—love, joy, and peace!

About the Author

G. David Wells is the author of this book. He served for thirty-eight years as an educator in the positions of a classroom teacher and an elementary principal. He was also the member of a golfing family. His father, Alton Wells, was a golfing enthusiast who introduced the game to several members of the family, including David.

This book, entitled TAME, has a setting on both a golf course and a science classroom. David, being a science teacher and a golfer, was in the unique position of experiencing the inspiring moments that led to this book. His wife, Jane, and three of their four children—Heidi, Peter, and Todd—were also a major part of these experiences. Geoffrey was not born yet.

There were two illustrators of this book.

Gerry LeBlanc was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and displayed an interest in drawing at the young age of eleven. He was self taught, and after developing skills in drawing, decided to paint with oils. His favorite paintings featured country scenes, especially barns.

He moved to Waltham, Massachusetts, and became a US citizen in 1964. He worked full-time as a mold designer in the plastics industry. However, when work was done, he enjoyed his drawing and painting. In retirement from full-time work, he continues to enjoy many hours of doing portraits and paintings with a spiritual emphasis.

Ginette McVeigh resides in West Brookfield, Massachusetts, with her husband, David. She actively participates in gardening, wood carving, drawing, and painting. When she was young, Ginette’s brother-in-law gave her a set of paints and brushes. Her artistic abilities developed and continue to grow today. In addition, she has created beautiful and meaningful nature wood carvings. Ginette continues to inspire others, and encourages all who enjoy creativity to advance themselves as far as they desire to go.
