My dear one, are you tired of the darkness that attacks your heart? Do you dream of happy days? Do you want the power to live that good and joyous life? You can have them. This devotional was prepared just for you. God has created a way for us to take advantage of His power; and defeat the things that beforehand have overwhelmed us. God wants you to have a good life! The key to having that good life is having joy in your heart. Joy comes only from intimacy with God. Intimacy is really such a beautiful word. It speaks of a closeness and love that is just between the two of you. It speaks of sweet times and trust in Him. God is not some far away, mysterious deity that you are supposed to believe in without any personal experience and relationship. God longs for an intimate relationship with you. And intimacy with God gives you joy. This devotional develops your intimacy with God. As your intimacy with God develops, His Glory fills you. As His Glory fills you, He drives out fear, insecurities, and pain (wounds) of your soul. So, as intimacy increases, so does victory in every situation in life. Any dark forces evil may offer God's Presence will drive out. So the real question is: do you want to keep the darkness and depression; or do you want peace and wholeness, joy and victory?

About the Book
At some point in his life, Job learned to praise God during the difficult circumstances that came his way. LOVE: Our love level with God grows in moments of intimacy. Intimacy is such a warm word. It means you get close, cuddle up, and you experience each other in private ways. Intimacy with God means you climb up in His lap, He whispers sweet words, and your heart heals from wounds and pain.

Venetia Frost lives in Stockbridge, Georgia with her husband, Mike Frost. She taught children's Sunday School for 20 years. Her heart has always been toward helping those struggling to know that God is our source and our strength. Venetia has one son and 5 grandsons.
