The next morning, Baxter lapped up his breakfast as quick as he could. He couldn't wait to get outside and meet a new friend. After kissing his momma goodbye, Baxter wiggled, wiggled, wiggled through the hole in the barn and began a new day of adventures. Baxter decided to explore the nearby brook. He tested the water with his paw. It made him giggle as he felt a tingle of cool water. Baxter walked over the small rocks to try to cross the brook. As he stepped on one particular rock, his paw slipped and he splashed into the water. As he came up out of the water, he felt something strange on his nose.
