About the Author

Jim Heckathorn, BA, MA, has been a minister, an educator, and an author. He began the study of alternative medicine out of necessity when his doctors didn’t know how to prevent his recurring and potentially deadly pulmonary embolisms. Through his research, he discovered that vitamin E was the solution. Later, when he had a problem with kidney stones, he discovered that vitamin B6 with magnesium was the cure. From learning how to naturally cure his ailments, he went on to learn about miraculous healing panaceas and how to prevent health care problems, all while staying healthy. This involved him in the study of nutrition which led to developing The Longevity Diet. As a result of his studies he is now much lighter and healthier than he was in mid-life. In his book he shares the secrets of his success with his readers.
