There once was a lamp sitting in a shop, Waiting patiently with the others until he was bought.
He started to wonder, “What’s the meaning of life? If my purpose for living to give off light…
….then why am I dark and cold and sad? I’m missing the joy the bright ones have.”
He looked at the others that stood bright and tall. Their “tails” were plugged into that thing in the wall.
He knew if he was plugged in, he also would be bright; THAT must be his purpose – his meaning in life.

About the Author
Donna grew up in the Panhandle of Texas. After attending Texas Tech University, she and her husband settled down in Lubbock, Texas, where they still live. They have four grown children and a beloved Golden Retriever. She enjoys reading, photography, and watching sports. This is her first book, and she has several more planned.
