After a while, she was very proud to use the doggie door, but it only led to the deck, so if I was in the front yard, she couldn't see me. So Swanny and I decided to build a bridge between the two and that prove to be a good idea. It didn't take much encouraging to get Cricket to go over the bridge, and she seemed pleased with it. Little did we think about the poor mail lady.
So one day, as Cricket sat on the back of the couch watching for cats and guarding our house, the mail lady decided to deliver a package to my door. Cricket flew off my couch, quick as a lightning bolt. I don't even think her paws hit the floor, and she sailed through the living room, dining room,kitchen, out the doggie door, over the bridge, to the porch, to scare the poor mail lady to death! I thank God every day I never taught that pug to go down those steps. Naturally, I started getting Post-It notes that said my packages were at the post office.

Do you ever wonder why God created pets? Or do you ever wonder how in the world you will get over the death of your dog? What if all you had to do was accept a free gift in order to see them again?
I thank God everyday that he did create pets, otherwise, I would never have experienced the opportunity to write Death did not take my dogs....Angels did!!! I tell about my laughs, trials, and tears of raising two puppies, burying them, and then seeing them return from heaven to say, “We are alive and waiting for you!”
May every pet owner have renewed faith; their beloved pets are in heaven and cannot wait for the day to see us again!
