This book is written to all those who love the Lord Jesus enough to, “Go ye into all the world and spread the Gospel.”
The seed can be planted, someone’s spirit can be lifted and encouraged when you care enough to send the best–a scripture or two from God’s Word, to be tucked in a card, note, email, or Face book–to someone God has put on your heart.
Because of our busy schedules, it is my intent and prayer that this book will make it easier for you to do this.

CHRISTMAS STORY CAKE DIRECTIONS: Everything in and on the cake are symbols of the Gospel story. The cake is chocolate, the frosting is pure white, the star on top is yellow, the twelve candles are red and the evergreens surround the bottom of the cake. The story is told and the cake shared by all.

MY JOURNEY TO THE LORD: ………Now all of my family has come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. All because one little girl invited another little girl to Vacation Bible School. Thank you Renee!
HEAVENLY MOMENTS: My fourth heavenly moment was in the morning. I had just awakened and was saying my prayers when a vision came into my mind of a battered car. I prayed, “Lord, I don’t know who is in this car, but please keep them safe.” That afternoon my daughter Taryn called me and said, “Mom, I was in an accident I could have been killed, but I didn’t even get hurt.” Thank you God for answered prayer and for my daughter’s protection.

About the Book
For decades now, one of the ways that I’ve been sharing God’s Word is including Bible verses in greeting cards, emails, Facebook, etc. It wasn’t always easy or convenient to find just the right scripture for holidays, and so many other special occasions —until now!
I wrote this book out of necessity. I wanted an easy to use, easy to access book full of appropriate verses for all occasions at my fingertips and available whenever I needed a perfect verse or two.
I truly hope you find this publication as fulfilling, convenient and as useful as I have, “sharing His Word, one verse at a time.”
About the Author
Lilly (Jeanne) Matousek - Berg - Kapotas was born in Winona, Minnesota, but spent most of her childhood in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She married and moved to Dodgeville, Wisconsin, where she and her husband raised six beautiful children. She is also blessed with eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren!
She taught High school, Vocational and private swimming lessons, plus lifesaving through the Red Cross Swim Program for 24 years. She also led water aerobics classes for as many years.
At thirty two years of age she found the most important person in her life, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since then she has been very active in most roles in the churches she has attended. She taught Sunday School for thirty years as well as Vacation Bible School, led Bible Studies and worked with youth groups. She has been active in Christian Women’s Clubs, church circles, church counsels, administration, prayer groups and the World Wide United Methodist Women’s organization.
Her most important role has been loving God, family, and “training up her children in the way they should go…” Proverbs 22:6
