When it comes right down to it, we only have today. Sometimes the clock is our worst enemy. Never seems to be enough time. How we use each moment of every day is so important.

As I write this letter I am sitting on our back enclosed patio that overlooks a large wooded hillside. It’s very early in the morning and the sun is just peaking through the trees. The grass is covered with dew, birds are singing and eating from the feeder, several deer appear at the base of the woods, and the air is as fresh as ever. Time seems to stand still in moments like this. It’s a precious moment of peace and serenity and it is all free! It is a moment like this that brings God, nature and soul together as one. We all need quiet time. Time alone. Time to clear our minds of the world’s clutter. We need this time to reconnect our spirit with the Spirit of God.

I enjoy spending time writing this letter. Time spent praying to the Holy Spirit for guidance and inspiration. I pray that you will take a few minutes each day to be at peace with yourself and our Lord. God is so wanting to spend quiet time with us….How much time do we have?
