Only Believe to Receive Miracles!
King Darius gave glory to God, after Daniel was pulled out of the lion’s den and said, He delivers and rescues, and He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. Dan. 6:27
Jesus said: And these signs will follow those who BELIEVE in My name they will cast out demons; … Mark 16:17 NKJV foot.: The signs, confirm the ministries of Christ’s ambass-adors in every generation. Also Acts 14:3 says: Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, Who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. And they (the eleven disciples) went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them and confirming the word with signs following. (Mk 16:20) God proved that it was His will by backing the disciples up with supernatural phenomena.
And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately. (Footnote Acts 9:34 NKJV: The miracle was not just a marvel; it was a sign.) Miracle: A supernatural event or happening regarded as an act of God. Web-ster’s Dict. & Thes.
Signs, Strong’s #4592, Rev. 16:14 NKJV – to describe miracles and wonders, indicating divine authority in Matt. 12:38, 39; Mark 8:11, 12. Thru the miracle of restoring Dorcas back to life in Joppa, many believed in the Lord. (Acts 9:42) So God does signs, wonders and miracles thru believers to draw people to Himself.
Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me. Ps 86:17 NKJV- sign, Strong’s #226: a token, visible illustration, portent, ensign, signpost, a miracle, a mighty deed or event as in Gen.9 :12-17 the rainbow, Ex. 12:13 the blood of the Passover lamb, which are visible illustrations of something – a covenant - that cannot be seen, that is an agreement between God and His people. Also wonders as signs of divine authority.

Without exception, miracles, signs and wonders accompanied the ministry and preaching of early church leaders. In Acts 2:22 NKJV, Peter reminded the people that Jesus’ credibility was based on His miracle ministry. This same credibility accompanied those set apart in leadership such as Stephen, Philip, Barnabas, Silas and Paul, as well as, the original apostles.
Also the early church leaders prayed for miracles in Acts 4:30, seeing them not as random, occasional events, but as worthy evidences of God’s anointing continually glorifying Christ thru the church, and therefore to be sought and welcomed.
Paul said in Ro.15:19: in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. Footnote NKJV: Signs and wonders accompanied Paul’s preaching to authenticate it in the eyes of those who heard. See Acts 2:43; 4:30; 5:12; 6:8; 14:3; 15:12; II Cor. 12:12; Heb. 2:4) Based on that pattern and gifts described in I Cor. 12:9,10, 28, 29 it seems appropriate to expect miracles today as well.
Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. (Acts 15:12) NKJV Wonders, teras; Strong’s #5059 –Teras denotes extraordinary occurrences, unusual manifestations, miraculous incidents …acts that are so unusual they cause the observer to marvel or be in awe.
In the Ex. 3:20 NKJV footnote: wonders point to or represent things larger or more impor-tant than themselves. They are usually linked to the acts of God. This is confirmed in Ps. 77:14 – Thou art the God who doest wonders;… And Ps. 136:4 – To Him who alone doeth great wonders, for His mercy endureth for ever;… Also Job 9:10 – Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, wonders without number. The note in NKJV says: Know that God’s works are often unfathomable by the human mind.
See the story of the Angel of the Lord appearing to Manoah and his wife in Judges 13:18, when He burned up the goat and grain offering, ascending in the flame of the altar! A wondrous thing, NKJV: Strong’s #6381- To perform a miracle, marvel, wonder, or supernatural deed, that is something beyond the human ability to grasp, do, or achieve.
God promised in Ex. 34:10b:… before all thy people I will do *marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the Lord: for it is a **terrible thing that I will do with thee. (*wonderful acts NKJV) **NKJV: awesome God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will? Heb. 2:4
Only Believe He will do the awesome miracle you are BELIEVING Him for, and praise Him in faith for it now, as if you had received it in the natural, because He is able and nothing is too hard for Him! Don’t stop praising and believing until you get your miracle! Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things! Ps 72:18
