Living by faith today is not different than with the garden. By faith, they trusted that the Lord would provide for them and He did. Even in today’s world, God will provide without a doubt. However, what has changed is that we think of what we need and God knows what we need. Those two things may be very different which yields the thoughts that God does not take care of us when in reality, He does. The world is much more than a place to live, grow up, get a job, get married and have kids. We have to keep remembering that this is God’s creation, not ours. We are a part of this creation and we all have a very important role in it.

About the Author
James S. Bissett, Jr. grew up spending much of his time outdoors, learning things from his dad and enjoying what God created for all of us to enjoy. Throughout his life he has maintained that connection to God’s creation. He completed his studies at Texas A&M University and later earned his MBA from Ashford University. God’s plan for him however, did not reside in Texas as he now resides in Helena, Montana, with his wife, two children and chocolate lab Hunter. After his education, he received his commissioning as a minister; he works with those in need of new connection or reconnection with God, he works as a director as well as sits on the board of directors with an organization and helps the homeless stabilize their lives with employment and housing as well as faith based counseling. The outdoors in Montana is of no comparison to the outdoors he experienced in Texas, which is truly a blessing from God. He enjoys now being able to experience the outdoors with his children as his dad did with him. Being in the mountain wilderness, one can really connect with God. He truly loves to share God’s word and the magnificent plan God has for all of us, including the opportunity of eternal life.
