Miracle Village

Chapter 1: THE OUTCASTS

Not so long ago, in a land very nearby, there was, is and ever will be a village called Miracle. Why? Because someone started to believe!

Someone had a sneaking suspicion that GOD was really, really good. The kids at school didn't like him so he would walk out to the field at lunch. He didn't care, he had something better going anyway. He walked way out close to the back fence where there were pigs on the other side. He sat down and got to touch the earth with his bare hands and smell the fresh, fresh air. Best of all, he looked up to the beautiful, true-blue sky and poofy clouds. He began to talk and talk and talk to GOD and said, “I love You GOD, I know You're there and I know You are my friend.” So, this person would talk and talk and talk and would look under every rock. He would smile lovingly in his heart at HIS splendor beyond compare.

So GOD just gets excited about loving someone that loves HIM and wants to be best friends. Those that do or will love HIM, this is all the same to HIM because HE exists without time. HE just knows.

So HE just started in working on Miracle a very long time ago. HE, The GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN made a beautiful place on Earth. HE placed there all kinds of plants like elephant ears.

About the elephant ears, GOD loved the elephant ears and when HE would look out and saw them it would brighten HIS day. They would remind HIM of a very special family who had big, big ears and big, big laughter. You may not have been able to hear it, but for sure you could see their heart laugh. They were one of the best families to be found and unforgettable to be around. In cold times, there was always a warm fire burning. If you were to look and look and listen too, those ears were listening keen for a special note found in you!

There were vegetable plants like carrot and corn, many different types of berries like blueberries and strawberries, all different kinds of beautiful trees, some with nuts to eat like walnuts and pecans, some with fruit like peach and apple and others for wood to build things with, like oak and pine. There were big trees for animals and birds to live in, small trees and middle size trees. You could say there were more different kinds of trees than you could shake a stick at. There were flowers of all kinds with bright colors like red and blue, big ones small ones all scattered across beautiful rolling meadows.

A big river that came right up out of ground fed smaller rivers that turned into big creeks which fed smaller streams. This river was the cause for all the lakes and ponds to stay full of water. Out of them came the water to give life to all the plants and trees. Every thing that lived there got its life through this River of Living Water. There were mountains and valleys with big and little rocks all around them where all different kinds of wondrous creatures lived like birds of all kinds. The rivers and lakes were full of fish and plants. The fields and meadows had horses and cows. There were elephants and giraffes, bears and deer, and many other different kinds of animals. The GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN, with all his wisdom, also put people in this place to take care of it and the animals.

But one day, the evil one deceived the people and they stopped doing what the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN loved of them and what HE spoke to them. So HE stopped the River of Living Water from coming up out of the ground. Then soon after, the land stopped giving fruit and vegetables, the rivers stopped flowing and the lakes dried up. There was no food for the animals or the people. They had to leave that place because it had turned into a wasteland where nothing could live. So all the people left that place and went to other parts of the world to start cities, towns and villages made by man.

Then after a long time had passed, some of the people started treating some of the other people very badly. They would say mean and ugly things to them and tell them that they were no good, that they should have never been born. Also, they would play mean jokes on them, so they could point at them and laugh. They would gang up on them, so they could take away their things and keep them for themselves. They treated them like outcasts and kept treating them worse and worse, day after day. It got so bad that the people that were being hurt by the people under the influence of the evil one started crying out in prayer to the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN for a miracle.

Then one day, the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN heard their cry and prayers and sent the messenger angel Gabriel. He told the people that cried out and had a heart after GOD to go back to that land. So people from all walks of life and all colors everywhere in the world that cried out to HIM headed back to that place in faith, faith in love. They were told by Gabriel that the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN promised HE would transform it and breathe life back into it and HE always keeps HIS promises.
