About the Book

This book deals with the many things we face in life. Each poem deals with what we face day by day. It tells us how to have a better relationship with man and God. I also have a comment section on each page and also have scripture verses that I think is appropriate for the poems. The poems are about love, joy, peace, pain, suffering, the storms of life, facing old age, anger, worry, and many other things. Some have humor, while others are more serious. It appeals to the senior citizens because they are the ones who are facing life-changing events in their lives. This book of poems also encourages us to get into a closer walk with the Lord and to trust him for all our needs. It reveals that we are all sinners and that Jesus died for our sins on the cross of Calvary.

About the Author

I started writing Christian poetry when I turned sixty years old. I was a Sunday school teacher, so I was familiar with the Bible. I always wanted my poems to be simple and easy to understand. I wanted the reader to be affected by the poems and inspired by them. My poems are about love, joy, peace, sickness, pain, worry, and many other things that face us day by day. I am retired now from the post office, so I can spend more time in writing. I live in the small city of Dacula, Georgia, with my wife, Pat. I also spend a lot of time with my granddaughters, whom I love very much.
