Personal study helps us gain insight and knowledge about who we are as disciples of Jesus. We understand He is the first person God resurrected to give eternal salvation and that Jesus is the only Son of God resurrected who can give salvation. We also discover the power of Jesus and the ways His power can affect every aspect of an individuals life. We study and learn it is true, nothing is to hard for God to save us from. We learn God is our source both in the spiritual realm and in this temporal world.

Your search for meaning in your life is completed once you are introduced to Jesus. From the beginning of creation, God wanted you to have a relationship with Him through His Son. God planned the details of this relationship and made it possible in your life. All that is needed is for you to receive this life in Christ and believe He wants you in His family. And ask Him to make you a member of His family. God, through His Holy Spirit, works out everything else. You will find your life tremendously purposeful and full. Your life will take on new meaning as you live from day to day, and you will have hope and purpose for all eternity as you learn to obey God’s guidance in your life.
About the Author
Christ has given my life purpose, first because He has saved me. The next gift He gave my life is His commission to preach His gospel.
I was licensed in 1971 and ordained in 1973 in Westwood Baptist Church University Center of Nashville, Tennessee.
I graduated from American Baptist College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts, and in 1984 from Howard University School of Divinity with a Master of Divinity.
I am married to Mrs. Florett T. Harlin. We live in Nashville, where I am pastor of Greater Galilee Christian Church.
It is my prayer for this book to inspire people to receive Christ as their personal Savior and to thirst more for His Word to sustain their faith in Him.
