Why My Blood Is Enough

Why are there so many different denominations, different beliefs and doctrines if we are all reading the same Bible? All denominations claim that they are following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, but are they? If we are all following God then we would all be of one church and one body with one goal. We as Christians sometimes fight each other more than we fight Satan. Therefore we are doing exactly what Satan wants us to do (staying in discord). All of this discord causes us to stay confused and lost! That is not Gods plan. His plan is for us to follow him and not the traditions of our assemblies. Until we become of one accord he will not come back for us. He is coming for a glorious church. A church that is walking in victory and in power! Not one that walks busted up and anemic. We must first realize who he is, what he has done for us, and what he expects from us.

God has revealed to me what separates us as a body of believers and has given me the answers! One of the major issues facing the church is ‘’water baptism.’’ What is the purpose for water baptism? Does water baptism save us? Is it a requirement for salvation? Has anyone ever been saved that was not baptized? Why was Christ baptized? I have heard so many different answers to why Christ was baptized. The reasons true reasons why he is baptized is amazing! What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Are speaking in tongues real? What did Jesus mean when he told Nicodemus ‘’you must be born of water and spirit’’?

These are some of the difficult questions that deals with baptism that many have a hard time understanding. Some of us as believers put faith in the water baptism ceremony. So they preach their whole lives that ‘’believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth’’ is not enough for salvation. That you must add to what he has done for you on Calvary. When you believe that there is something else you must do on top of what Christ has done on the cross for us, we are really saying, ‘’ I don’t have enough faith in what Christ has done at the cross. Instead I will put faith in something that I can see, touch, or do on my part.’’ These are some of the topics that you will read about in the first section of my book.

The second section on my book focuses on ‘’works.’’ What are works for? Can I work my way to heaven? What does works earn us? Do we all receive the same rewards? These are questions that we all have dealt with. Today many churches have a hard time with these concepts. Too many times we rely on our works to get us to heaven. Even atheist, believe in hell this is why they have a hard time accepting Christ. They want to say that ‘’they are good people, they do good things ‘’ they believe if there is a hell that there works would save them from it. I don’t know how many times that I have heard people say ‘’ look at how rude, and mean those Christians are if they are going to heaven then so am I!’’ Some say ‘’I am a good person I am going to Heaven or I used to go to church so yeah I’m saved.’’ How about this ‘’I help people all the time so I deserve to go to Heaven.’’ These are all fruits of salvation, but not what gets you into Heaven. If works could get you into Heaven then God would not be a just God.

The third section discussion is the ‘’Law’’ or better stated the ‘’ commandments.’’ Many do not know that there are actually 613 of these laws. What was the purpose of them? Some believe that the Old Testament saints were saved by keeping the law. Some believe that they are saved by keeping ‘’moral standard.’’ Others think that the law no longer applies. Some churches still operate under the law. Most denominations have replaced the law with their own law called ‘’traditions.’’ Many people do not understand the purpose of these laws and how they are effective still today. If you allow traditions to guide you, and govern you then you cannot be led by the Holy Spirit and walk in power and love!

The fourth section of my book discusses the ‘’Blood.’’ Why did God ask the Israelites to do so many different sacrifices? Why do we no longer have to sacrifice animals? Why would God ask someone to sacrifice their son? Why would God sacrifice his Son for us? Why we must put our faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ alone to be saved? What does his sacrifice do for us?

These are some of the questions that unbelievers have and those who are dedicated to their denominations have a hard time comprehending. We as people are always trying to earn righteousness. Righteousness is not earned it is given. In the book of Genesis people tried to build a tower to Heaven and God changed there language to confuse them. We today try to rely on our works whether it is ‘’water baptism, going door-to-door, feeding the poor and keeping some kind of standard’’ to get us to heaven therefore there is confusion among us (the believers). If you want to be saved and skip hell then you must put your faith in Jesus Christ alone! If you have done that now you are a child of God! You now have the Power to walk in Victory over the Devil! I hope you will have a better understanding at the end of my book and hear the Lord say to you ‘’WHY MY BLOOD IS ENOUGH!’’
