Since the Word of God identify Jesus as being the “light” and believers are “children” of the Spiritual family. We have the privilege of son-ship or daughter-ship bestowed by God upon those who believe and accept Jesus as the Son of God. As A Member of the Spiritual Family “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” (Ephesians 1.5). As A Member of the Spiritual Family “Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God! Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not,” (1 John 3:11). This became possible because of what our Brother Jesus done at the Cross for us as believers, we have been sanctify we have been set apart for His purpose. Since “God is not a man, that he should lie” (Num. 23:19) I know I can put my “trust in the Lord” (Ps. 4:5) and I can believe He is my Spiritual Father and Jesus is my Spiritual Brother and I have been adopted as a member of the family. I “have received the Spirit of Adoption” and I will “cry, Abba, Father”. “The Spirit itself beareth witness with my “ spirit, that” I am a child of God (Rom. 8:15-16).

About the Book
The main focus of this book is to help you, a child of God, to understand who He has called you to be and to understand that when God made you in his image, it came with authority. I hope this book will encourage you to see yourself as being an individual with authority because your spiritual Father is the creator of heaven and earth.
I give thanks to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit for helping me to write this book. I give thanks to my sister-in-law, Brenda Cobbs, for all of her help.

Lloyd S. Cobbs Jr. is founder and pastor of Cosmos Church. In his work as a pastor, God has led him to take away people’s excuses for why they can not serve him. This is his goal as a pastor at Cosmos Church—to lead people closer to God with a willing heart. He has worked with the youth and elderly in the community.
