When God created man in His own image and likeness to be stewards to rule over the earth, He knew by giving man a free will, he would fall. Thus, man lost both his intimate relationship with God and his ability to properly govern the earth. Sin not only separated man from God but also brought a curse and a great loss. God's redemptive plan is evident from the day man sinned in the garden. God planned both to redeem man and to restore man's delegated authority and stewardship over the earth once again. God promised that the seed of woman would destroy the serpent, Satan (Gen. 3:15). Christ was that seed who came to redeem man and reverse the effects of the fall and the curse. He restored mans ability to fulfill the mission originally given to Adam, as well as restoring man's relationship to God through Jesus Christ at the Cross.
I know of no other religious organization that has been so violently attacked as the Christian faith. When God told Satan in the garden, He will bruise his head, Satan's plan was to do everything he could to destroy the righteous blood line, up to the cross, where Christ shed His blood for all mankind.
When Cain killed his brother Abel, Adam and Eve had another son, Seth, to continue the righteous bloodline that would eventually bring Christ to the cross and defeat Satan, once and for all.
We read in Exodus 1:22, where the Pharaoh gave orders to kill every first-born Hebrew child in the country. It turned out that the Pharaoh's daughter was about to bathe herself in the river when she found a little boy (Moses) floating down the river in a basket. She begged the pharaoh not to kill him and the pharaoh agreed to raise him as the prince of Egypt along with their own son.
When Christ was born, Herod was crowned “King of the Jews” by the Roman Senate in 40 BC in Rome. He was, however, a king without a kingdom. We read in the book of Matthew, 2:2,3. "Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him." No other king was going to take over his thrown, and so he ordered all children under the age of two years be killed in the hope that Jesus would be one of them.
Than we have the Inquisition, which started in 1231A.D. and lasted some 700 years. When the pope appoints the first "inquisitors of heretical depravity." The Spanish Inquisition, which begins under Ferdinand and Isabella, doesn't end until the 19th century, the last execution was in 1826. At the outset, the main focus was on Jews and "judaizers" Christian converts of Jewish ancestry who were accused of secretly adhering to Judaism. The Roman Inquisition, created to fight the Reformation, and run from the Vatican, doesn't come to an end until the 20th century. Those Christians and Jews who would not convert over to the Roman Catholic Church were executed. Some say as many as sixty million Christians were executed for the cause of Jesus Christ.
Through the annuals of history up to the present time, Satanic forces have been working to destroy God's love for mankind and His plan of Salvation.
Time and time again, Christ warns His Church about false doctrine, false prophets, and false teachers. (Matthew 24:3-8; Mark 13:3-8; Luke 21:7-11). The apostle Paul would later warn of this as well. He told the leaders of the church in Ephesus: "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves" Acts 20:29-30. 29. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
I have said this often, and that is, about 80% of the people that go to church, do not read or study their Bible, and it is for that reason so many people end up in cults, false doctrine teachings and believing in false prophets.
Many churches today are caught-up in New Age Movement. "The term [New Age] itself may indeed be fairly recent but the actual practices and beliefs involved are thousands of years old. For instance, the slave girl mentioned in Acts 16 was in effect a New Ager. The term itself was taken from astrology making reference to the Aquarian age in which humanity is supposedly going to realize its inner divinity. Hence, anyone who engages in these mystical practices is associated with this view, even though they may have lived centuries ago. It's not the term; it's the practices that are at issue here."
The Bible in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 warns of Satan's counterfeit: "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;. . ." Isaiah 14: 14 tells of Satan's ultimate counterfeit: ". . . I will BE LIKE the most High."
Another attack upon Christianity are the revised Bibles printed today. They are deliberately removing the God-head, Jesus Christ and the Virgin birth out of their publications.
All one has to do to compare these changes, just compare the King James Version to the other Revised Bibles by Google, "What's wrong with the NIV Bible, or the New King James Bible and etc. When you Google, what's wrong with the NIV Bible, you will have nineteen pages come up showing you what is wrong with the NIV Bible. In my book, Government, A Christians Civic Responsibility, I have tried to go back a few years on what has been happening to the Christian movement in America, which has become much the same around the world today. America was founded upon Biblical principles, and for more than two hundred years, American has sent more missionaries out around the world than any other country. I believe it is this movement, Satan is attacking America today.
America is the last stand for Religious freedom, and we are under attacked like no other time in America's history. The forces of Satan is lashing out at everything America has ever stood for. The very foundations of this great nation are being tested and the people must come to understand some of the problems so they can correct them. Without sufficient understanding, we are the problem. Educate and inform yourself to become the solution to the problem. Rev. Duane L. Wildie
