It was as if she was meant to belong to this family and she promptly adopted her “people”, especially ‘her man”. She was absolutely crazy about him. The family just knew that “her man” came first, then the teenage girl, and last but not least, the mother. Many afternoons she would snuggle with the mother so that her feeling wouldn’t get hurt. And she was very motherly herself. When the mother didn’t feel well she always seemed to arrive out of nowhere to sit by her and comfort her. Animals know, you know.

This story tells of how a little black-and-white farm kitty found her way into the lives of a city family and instantly made herself at home. It was meant to be that she should be their kitty. You may identify her antics with the pets you have known.
Hope’s story is told as if she is sharing her world with you.

About the Author
I am a first-time author who has studied writing for a number of years. Recently, our daughter married a Nebraska farmer. My husband and I relocated to Cozad, Nebraska, to be near them and to experience a whole new way of life. We have two sons, a daughter, and two grandchildren.
