Foreword
Life is a dance like no other. It cannot be rehearsed, everyone’s steps are different, and it just happens, mostly without warning. What may seem to be a perfectly normal day can change its shape in an instant.
We had a plan mapped out, and things were going well. We were doing just fine till Colon Cancer showed its hideous face and robbed us of our normal day. Yet, it is wonderful that what we are called to rejoice in this day because it is the day the Lord made. Right here where we find ourselves, in and out of season, no matter the situation, right now, it is the day that He has made.
This is a testimony of God’s presence and love at the worst moment of my life: the death of Dalmas, a man whom I dearly loved and grew up with. Anyone who has lost a loved one or who has experienced loss of whatever kind or whose dreams seem to be abruptly growing wings and flying out the window knows the feeling of helplessness and despair that comes rushing in.

I pray that mercy comes to meet you and that it stays. Life can be a complex, chaotic and an incomprehensible jig-saw puzzle. We do not have all the pieces. Sometimes it hits us with a ton of ashes and we do not know how to move from that place. But God sees it all; He knows where each piece fits. Only when each one is moved to its rightful place will there be meaning. That is the art of the Maker of the universe. He makes everything work for our good; He does not pick and choose, He takes the pricks and thorns, the dancing shoes and flower petals, cries and merriment, and makes them all work for us. He
For broken hearts wondering if God can hear you, for weary souls tired after a series of battles, for shed and unshed tears, for seekers of God's voice in this noisy world, I give you my testimony. As I speak to you, I speak also to myself. You will never walk alone; He is watching over you.
The God who stirs up the see and makes its waves roar, He who stores the snow and calls each star by name, the One who stretched out the heavens and soothes mountains to sleep, will send showers and cause something beautiful to blossom out of the ruins of your life. This book is about God's love. It has to mean something; otherwise these are just random words wasting time on paper.
