In a few minutes, the son returned and was urging this lady along and saying “no peeking.” The lady was stooped over a bit and leaning on a walker to help her walk. I could tell she was young but she looked so tired and weak as she made her way down the hall to my room. As she got close, the son said “okay, you can look now Mommy. Look at your Loveya Tree!” When the lady opened her eyes, I’ll never forget the expression on her face. There just aren’t enough words to express the joy I saw in her eyes. In that moment, there’s nothing on earth that could have made me feel more special than being her “Loveya Tree.”

About the Author
D’Wayne Robinson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a Fortune 200-trained business professional and entrepreneur. The journey and ultimate loss of his wife of twenty-eight years to breast cancer provided the inspiration for this book. He and his teenage son, Jared, live in Canfield, Ohio.
