If your bush of life is burning And it is not being consumed It’s time to look a little closer Before your life is resumed. This event is extraordinary And should speak volumes to you There’s a plan in God’s hand Not written by man, It’s designed, developed, and true. Pay close attention to His words And everything He has to say For the purpose that He reveals to you Will unfold day by day. Now that He has your attention There’s no need to fret or fear For He is the great I Am That I Am With instructions loud and clear. Make no excuses, For by Him you have been approved. Stand on holy ground, in obedience and faith, But first, you must remove your shoes! Perspective on marriage: The Need to Cleave A recipe given for a good Christian marriage, like one that has been “made in heaven.” Prayer Nugget: All prayer warriors, Like wild brushfires consume The devil’s kingdom!

About the Author
Ruth W. Council is a 2010 retiree of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She is the founder and pastor of Flock of God Ministries, Inc. in New Haven. Her husband, David, is the overseer of the ministry. She founded and hosted a radio program titled Messages from the Lord. She and her husband are trained and sought-out marriage counselors. They have three adult children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. They reside in New Haven.
