Persecuted But Still Standing

Once in a meeting with pastors I asked the question why is it that the people you pray the hardest for and do the most for are the ones that try to destroy you in the end. Every pastor in the room could identify with the question because they had experience the same but no one had the answer.

One pastor stated when you find the answer let me know. I believe we all know its envy and jealousy.

I heard T.D. Jakes say if you are going to be successful you will have haters. So whatever you are doing do it some more. In writing this I realized that I didn’t have a childhood as the oldest girl I became the mother of my siblings. I experience the death of a daughter which was traumatic for me since I was saved and living a Christian life and surrounded by family members who were not claiming to be saved and had one child out of wedlock after the other. At that time it was hard for me to see the benefits of being saved since the unsaved had it better than I did. But I found out that God is good and faithful. I was born a leader so I learned very quickly whoever is at the top will take a lot of hits Satan will make sure of that. I learn how to praise my way through a lot of hurt and pain. A woman with a call on her life to be a pastor can be a lonely road to success. You will find that you can trust only a select few people that is around you. You will be persecuted and criticize for doing what God has destined you to do. People feel you should honor what they believe and not what you know to be the truth. Hear them and not hear God. The devil is a lie I don’t need people like that in my life and I don’t have a problem with distant myself from people who are against what God is doing in my life. When God is for you who can be against you, nobody but the devil. So the way I see people is if you’re against the God in me then Satan is your master. The person who betrays you is really saying I want what you got and I want to be who you are but I’m not willing to pay the price you paid I just want you to set it up and I will come in and take it. The most hurt I have experienced in life has been from my family and CHURCH FOLKS! All my life I have heard how mean church folks are believe me it is true. This is one reason we have a hard time recruiting the sinner is that they come in and see the actions of Christians and realized they are no different than they are. How can you be in church hearing the Word of God for 40 years and still not give your life to Christ it happens all the time. People are comfortable playing church. Hallelujah, on Sunday morning go back to their old ways as soon as they leave the church. People come to church and get mad with the pastor for preaching the truth (the Bible) I tell my congregation that’s all I have to give is the Word of God. I didn’t write the Bible I’m just relaying the message to help you live a righteous life. But if you don’t want the Holy Spirit in your life you will never experience the joy and peace that you will need to live this Christian life. Life comes with struggles but Jesus came to set us free and help us endure our struggles. I been broken several times each time it was by the hand of God. My prayer is Lord keep me humble. I was almost raped and several times the devil tried to kill me I thank God for my angels. I been persecuted greatly for Christ sake and I’m still standing strong.
