Pick Me! Pick Me!

Chosen

     Warning!  You may not want this book. It will be the greatest challenge one can give, both exciting and freighting. If your faith is not rock solid in Jesus, pick another book.

  What is this book about? It's about drawing out that which you were created to do for His glory. You picked this book, but actually He picked you. Who is He? God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit has picked you to shine His glory through.

 Have you longed to be picked for something? Anything ? Perhaps, the lead in the school play, the sports team, asked to go to the prom? How about picked for the promotion at work or an acknowledgement for your hard work? What about marriage, have you longed for someone to choose you to be the object of their love? There may even be an outside chance that you were orphaned and therefore have always had a” nonchosen” pain within you.

Maybe you have never been chosen for anything and have given up on the hope of it. Perhaps you don't care anymore if you are ever picked. Your hope is all but gone. I wonder if you are already thinking this book doesn't pertain to you.....don't go. God has chosen you.

  It is my complete desire to communicate as strongly as I can, through this book, an amazing truth that you were chosen before the foundation of the world.

  Doesn't that last paragraph seem like a sci-fi statement? Doesn’t it sound as if it is from out of this world? Truthfully, it IS from another world~ a heavenly kingdom actually. And the documentation of this proclamation is found in the ancient book of John of the historically proven bible.                 ~ John 15:16

YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME,

BUT I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU~

 Even now, I am praying for the person that just read that statement, that it not just be words to you. The bible says that His word is alive and has the ability to go straight to the heart of a person. You were chosen before the world began. This will take the Spirit of God to make that come to life for you.

  The God of the universe longs for you to realize this truth. That is why He sent His Son Jesus down to earth- to reveal His plan. His plan involves you. He loved you so much, He sent His Son to make a way for you to come alive. Really alive- beyond breathing, beyond existing. He chose you before time to do the second part of that historically proven bible verse . Let's read the second part of

John 15:16

 ~ You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you SO THAT YOU WOULD GO AND BEAR MUCH FRUIT, FRUIT THAT WILL LAST, AND SO THAT WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, THE FATHER WILL GIVE YOU.

 Chose and appointed------you.                                                                               

   With a big sigh within me and the challenge before me, I will, with the help of the Holy Spirit believe that by the end of this book, you will respond to the glorious call on your life. He has called you, have you responded to that call?

  1 Sam 3:9+10~So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”

Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Are YOU listening? You have to listen, with Holy ears to what the Holy Spirit is saying. Read John 15:16 again with Holy ears.

Did you hear it? Much fruit, fruit that will last. Do you have fruit that will out live you? Will you have treasure when you get home to heaven? Is what you are currently consumed with for His glory?

 Let's begin.
