About the Book
PopPop loves all of God’s creation, but most of all he loves the mountains and forests of Colorado. He loves the mountains so much that he assigned himself the project of taking care of the forest in a very special camping spot. This story is about one special day when PopPop and his dog, Champ, met a very clever and fearless song sparrow while he was working in the forest to get rid of a terrible weed threatening to take over the place he loves.

About the Author
Anne McCleary has a profound love of nature and appreciation for God’s creation. In addition to her full-time career as a family nurse practitioner, she spends time with her husband and their border collie hiking, camping, and taking photographs of the beauty of Colorado. She enjoys writing stories for her children and grandchildren.
