One of my favorite applications that I like to use with regards to marital love
between a man and a woman is called “The PMS of Love.” When I created this it just
made a lot of sense to me and it fit right in to where I was going with my thoughts.
The acronym stands for “Proclaim, Maintain, and Sustain.” When we love our
spouses, we “Proclaim” our love when we get married and inform God and those
watching of our life long vows to one another.
Then when we enter into our marriage we do the things that “Maintain” our
marriage according to God’s Holy Word in the area of the Holy Bible that talks about
“Wives & Husbands” in [Ephesians 5:22-33].
At the same token, through our “commitment” to the Almighty Father God we
“Sustain” our marriage having matured in one another, that allows the marriage to last
over and through time until death do us apart with God leading the way.

About the Author
Curtis W. Carter is a board-certified pastoral counselor and the founder of the Curtis Carter Ministry. He holds an MA in Christian ministry and is also a graduate of Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. When Curtis gave his life to Jesus Christ, he was committed to representing God’s kingdom with an anointed biblical understanding. Curtis is married to his wife Jennifer and they have a boy and girl fraternal twins, Christian William and Kennedy Lynne. They reside in sunny Orange County, California.
