About the Author
Evangelist/CoPastor Cynthia Butler by calling is a National Evangelist, byu ministry assignment she is the Vice President and CoPastor of Joy of Life Ministries, Inc. COGIC of Omaha, Nebraska. Her ministry at Joy of Life also includes the office of church administrator, minister of education and director of the JOL Discipleship Academy; teaching bible principles and spiritual growth classes for members and participants from the community. By denomination Evangelist Butler is an active member of the Church of God In Christ; founded by Bishop Charles Harrison Mason and headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a teacher in the OT Jones Institute of the National COGIC. In her local church jurisdiction she is the State Workshop Coordinator and the Assistant Urban Initiative Coordinator on the bishop's staff. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA , Sis. Butler was saved, filled with the Holy Ghost and called to ministry as a teen-ager. At the time of this writing Evangelist Butler had served in ministry for over thirty five years. Pastor Eric is an award winning minister, community leader and corporate executive. The Butlers have three adult children and one grandson. PDAC is a community service agency which provides education advocacy, life advancement and employability services to the community. Professionally, Mrs. Butler is an educator. She has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education; a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Education Administration.
