We moved out of that house after I did my first burglary with a friend. That is when I realized I had a drug problem. I relied on my sisters to get me high, until I started seeing a 24 year old guy, a homeboy of my oldest brother. He had just got out of prison when I met him, we were using drugs together. He moved in and gave me a fix every day. This went on for about six months, and then I threw him to the curb, I was my own woman, and I didn’t want to be tied down.
I was enjoying the singles life, and getting high. My baby’s grandma would pick her up on weekends, or whenever I called them. They always said yes, and would come for her. There was no point in denying my drug addiction, they knew. I struggled a lot with my addiction I knew it was wrong, but by then it had a good hold of me “I had to have it”. I met a girl, and moved out to her house, her mom said it was okay if my daughter and I stayed there, she liked me. Of course she didn’t know I was an addict, she was too busy drinking anyways.
But her daughter, and I became party animals, and best friends.

This is the true testimony of my past life of a broken vessel--lost, hopeless, and drained of all energy to live. When I walked away from God as I did, it was the darkest time of my life; I was a slave to sin and corruption, which almost took my life. Drug addiction, alcohol abuse, prostitution, robbery, theft, deceit, abortions, and walking away from my children were all part of Satan’s plan to make sure I sank into the gates of hell. But God took pity on my soul; I was His and didn’t realize it.

This is a true autobiography of a young woman who was in bondage to an addiction of heroin for twenty-three years and almost lost her life countless times.
