The Limousine driver pulled up in front of the Building and the driver jumped out of the limo to open the door to a tall, handsome, exquisitely dressed and very rich, Randolph Wingate. As he stepped out of the limo, talking on his cell phone and straightening his jacket, the driver quickly reached in and grabbed his briefcase and paper and put them into Wingate’s hands. Passer-byer's slowed their walk to stare and people paused in their cars and taxis to see the world renown “Randolph Wingate.” Even Lazarus gleamed as he sat on the bottom step of the Wingate building. That moment seemed to stop time, but only a few seconds had passed by, then everything went back to the way is was before Wingate stepped out of the car.

About the Book
Jesus said, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” It’s mentioned three times in the Gospels: Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, and Luke 18:25.
Randolph Wingate, one of Wall Street’s renowned billionaires, is being put to the test, even though he doesn’t know it. He believes in money and is accustomed to getting what he wants, when he wants it, keeping it all for himself, and never reaching out to help those less fortunate. Now he wonders why things aren't going as he planned.
His selfish ways and unbelief in God play a major role in his confusion and anguish. What will become of his fame and fortune? What will be his doom? Will a camel go through the eye of a needle and Randolph Wingate open his eyes in Hell?
About the Author
Violia Wilson has been a contributing editor of her church’s newspaper for over twenty years and has written, produced, and directed numerous dramas for the church and community over thirty-seven years. She is the author of I’m Blessed by God, and I Have Breast Cancer!: A Journal of My Journey, published in January, 2012.
She lives with her husband/pastor in Baltimore, Maryland, and serves with him in his ministry.
She was inspired by the anointing of God’s presence as she wrote the drama of Lazarus and the Rich Man (2009); she knew she had to expound upon the missing details that a drama can’t include and share it with the world.
As Jesus used parables to tell many stories, she too uses Christian fiction writing to tell the world of God’s real grace and mercy.
