About the Author
Neala Ames is at home in the central highlands of Arizona. Originally a Missourian, Ms. Ames remembers her home state affectionately. Loosely basing Gossamer Ties on her own family, Ms. Ames wanted to develop a supernatural story that appealed to teens without all the gore, violence, and sexual overtones prevalent in much of today’s fiction.
