What Will It Be Like What will it be like – To be before the throne; And see on it seated – God, the Eternal One. Surrounded about – With all heavenly host; Worshiping the Father, – The Son and Holy Ghost. What will it be like – To see God’s Holy Lamb; The One that was slain – For the sin of all man; Raised from the dead – And now in the glory; Hallelujahs be raised – The Lamb – He is worthy. What will it be like – In a place without sin; To be gathered with saints – His temple enter in; No sickness, no sorrow – Not even a tear; But this comforting thought – Our Jesus is here. What will it be like – In God`s holy place; What will it be like – To gaze on His face; What will it be like – To touch each precious wound; See the love in His eyes – The caress of His hand. What will it be like – To hear His mouth say; My beloved, I love you – With Me you will stay; What will it be like – To dwell in His presence; Will His robes then diffuse – The sweet smell of incense. What will it be like – to sit at His feet; As we gather around – In fellowship sweet; What will it be like – To finally get home; Our cry even now is – Lord Jesus, please come.
