Let me share something about the process of healing. When we have a sore or a small cut, we usually put a bandage on it, and the purpose of the bandage is to be a covering for the wound. Well, have you ever removed the bandage and realized that the wound has not really healed? Instead it has gotten worse, because the dampness of the bandage hindered the healing process. What I'm trying to say is that in life putting a bandage on life's wounds can turn the bandage into bondage. For anything to have a chance to heal, it has to be uncovered and to uncover anything it has to be revealed. Somethings we try to keep covered are to big and detrimental to our lives to stay covered up. Everything that has caused you hurt, brokenness or has brought you to a place of wanting to give up, has got to GO! You can do this by taking the bandage off and letting it have some air. What are you trying to say, Donna? What I'm trying to say is no matter how much it hurts, it has to be uncovered to breathe. You must to be able to breathe. That's the only way healing can take place and after healing comes restoration.
